Those that make the most of life have learned to tap into their mind’s great potential, training it to work efficiently, and then reaping the benefits of the great things it helps them to accomplish. An old commercial states that a mind is terrible thing to waste. Many of us are rather wasteful.
An important tool that is an integral part of our mind, is our intellect. It is our source of horse power. Most of us do not use its full potential. We are afraid to open it up and see what it is capable of doing. Most of us barely us its full capabilities. We need to really turn it on and let it empower us to wonderful accomplishments.
We have the creative tools of visualization and imagination. We have the ability to think and comprehend ideas, objects, devices, all kinds of things. We have the capability to invent and bring into existence such things as wheels, gasoline engines, flying machines, light bulbs, computers, and myriad of things. It has been said whatever the mind can comprehend can be achieved. By utilizing some of our tools we can preview or see in advance the person we are capable of becoming. We can create or become whatever we see ourselves as being.
In our bag of tools we carry within other notables that need mentioning. There is a dictionary full of powerful capabilities. A partial list includes: will power, work ethic, action, ingenuity, inspiration, goal setting, “I can attitude”, wisdom, experience, motivation, patience, endurance, expectations, courage, confidence, positive attitude, discipline and determination. There are many, many more. We are and always will be a work in progress and should always be utilizing our many tools to try to become the absolute best we can become.
Challenge: Do you have a personal growth project list or self-improvement list? It is those things you want to change or improve about yourself. You should be visualizing what it is you want to become. If you do not have this clearly in mind, then chances are it is not a priority. Review your list or make a new one of those things you want to improve. Use your many resources to help you progress. You can be anything you set your mind to be.

We are created in God’s image and have some of Him in each of us. He created us with unique talents and abilities. We were designed to have a personal relationship with Him. Without this relationship we are not capable of utilizing all the tools we have been given in their way they were intended to be used. We can only go so far on our own. We will fall miserably short without having an interactive and personal relationship with God.
Prayer: Help me to understand and to realize my potential. Help me to be all You designed me to be.
